The UTMB BSM exists to minister to the students in the medical center in Galveston.  Our goal is to encourage those students who are already followers of Christ to be engaged in living out their faith and to challenge them to find ways of expressing their faith as medical professionals.  In addition, our desire is to draw those who are not yet followers of Christ into the community, to live the gospel before them, to share the gospel with them in word and deed and to challenge them to consider the claim of Christ on their lives.  We believe that every student deserves the opportunity to make this decision based on a heathy interaction with the Word of God and with His body.

This ministry exists because of the vision and support of the Galveston Baptist Association of churches and the Baptist General Convention of Texas.
